SQUADS
We're a continually growing rugby club and have been providing opportunities to players across our 1XV, 2XV and 3XV squads for many years now - there's always a place for you to develop and enjoy rugby more at The Spartans.
We ‘re proud of our continued growth and ability to provide training and matches to around 90 Union players (With another 90 members who signed up for Inclusive Touch Rugby ).
We’re an RFU Accredited club and have worked a lot with England Rugby and Cheshire RFU to promote greater participation in the game.
Approximately 1/3rd of our Union players consider themselves in one of the three particular teams – with the 1XVs competing in the Northwest Rugby Union League Division 3 South in Season 2023/23, the 2s playing in the IGR UK League and social games and friendlies and our Development 3XV playing in the IGR UK Development League and also occasional friendlies.
