HOW TO GET TO SALE SPORTS CLUB

GETTING TO US BY CAR:Â
From Manchester city centre head west towards Altrincham using the A56 Stretford road for 5.5miles. When you see / reach TGI Friday’s in Sale (its on the right hand side of the road). BEGIN TO TAKE the left filter lane into Dane Road (B5397). Turn left into Dane road.
Continue on down Dane Road for 3/4 mile until you see the Tennis courts on the right hand side. 50m further on turn right into Clarendon Crescent, then turn right into the Club’s Car Park, where you can park on site.
Sale Sports club is the brand new, modern building slightly hidden by new houses on the corner of Dane road and Clarendon Crescent junction. Our rugby club is part of Sale Sports club.
The rugby club changing rooms are located on the ground floor of the modern clubhouse, accessed through the front door on the right hand side of the main club house. The rugby pitches are behind the houses on the opposite side of the road to the the front of the club. Look for the tall tree on the corner of the junction and walk down the pathway behind that which leads to the pitches.
PARKING
If the club car park is full, please do NOT park on Clarendon Crescent but instead park on Dane Road or on Priory Woods Lane (the wooded lane almost opposite the Car Park exit)
GETTING TO US BY METROLINK
The nearest Metrolink Tramstop is DANE ROAD which is about a 7 minute walk down Dane Road from the Clubhouse. Walking from the tram stop, down Dane Road, keep a look out for the Tennis Courts and Clubhouse which you’ll see on the Right-hand-side of the road. Turn right onto Clarendon Crescent and then you will see the Clubhouse a couple of metres down Clarendon Crescent on your Right-hand-side.
