Since 1999, the Manchester Village Spartans have proudly pioneered the path for inclusive rugby and championed LGBT+ participation in sport. Our grassroots club is more than a team; it’s a diverse family pushing the boundaries of inclusivity on and off the pitch.

Each Spartan player represents unity and strength by donning our inclusive jersey, showcasing how LGBT+ sport can have a transformative impact. We are passionate about using rugby to serve as a beacon of acceptance, participation and wellbeing for all.

Through grit and determination, our club’s victories demonstrate that rugby can be made more accessible, irrespective of sexuality or gender identity. We foster social cohesion through collaboration with sponsors, governing bodies and charities. Here, a sense of belonging and community is the lifeblood of our club.
