The Covid Year: A season that was not played
The 2020-21 season was lost to Covid. The RFU delayed the start, then cancelled all adult competitive leagues in November 2020, so there was no league season to play. In its place the club was drawn into NOWIRUL Cluster T, with ten fixtures scheduled between January and April 2021 against Macclesfield, Knutsford, Holmes Chapel, Wythenshawe and Hope Valley. None of them produced a score. Five were formally postponed, the rest quietly fell away, and a further four fixtures in the cluster were never arranged at all. The record below is what remains of a season the club never got to play.
