Spartans 2nd XV host Manchester RUFC 3's in a friendly on Saturday 26th Oct at Sale Sports Club. KO 3pm following the England v New Zealand Rugby World Cup Semi-Final that kicks off at 9am and can be watched on the Big Screen at our brand new clubhouse.

We’ve arranged a last minute friendly with our rugby neighbours’ 3rd XV squad at Manchester RUFC with a Kick Off at 3pm this Saturday at Sale Sports Club.

Founded as Manchester Football Club in 1860, eleven years before the formation of the RFU, Manchester RUFC is one of the oldest open rugby clubs in the world. Their 3s, known as the Manchester RUFC Hawks, play in the Halbro League Division 5 South and are currently 10th in the table.
