Our new playing kit celebrates our passion for our local Manchester and LGBT community.
We’re pleased to reveal our brand new playing kit for 2019 which has been designed by the Spartans’ very own David Fox who won an internal club competition last year to design this special top – celebrating our club’s close ties to our incredible home city of #Manchester in the year we celebrate our 20th anniversary.
Continuing our theme of incorporating colours from the #Prideflag on our Spartans #Rugbykit, the Kukri Sports top features multi-coloured honeycombs throughout and a #Manchester #Bee as a symbol of our solidarity with the local #Mancunion and #Gaycommunities we’re part of.
Our 1s will be out on the pitch at home and the 2s away to Manchester RUFC this Saturday, both wearing the new gear – so come along and have a closer look if you fancy it.
Huge thanks to our Club Sponsors, Barpop and Via Canal Street and our club supporters LGBT Foundation, Gaydio and Unite the union who are all featured proudly on the kit. We’re all so grateful to you for your incredible support – thank you!
We’ll be out on a Kit Drive – the first official night out in the kit within the next few weeks on Canal Street, Manchester – more details soon.
