- Benefit of being a Spartan
- Was entering late twenties and needed a hobby! Also wanted to grow friendships in Manchester. Certainly got both! Keeps me active and also happy by being part of this Spartan community. I used to play during school and college years, reaching a district level. After having a gap year traveling and then starting university, rugby was put on the back burner! It was only recently that I wanted a take up a hobby - that could mean meeting new people, as well as staying fit. Being re-introduced to Rugby was the answer!

- Go for it. You only live once and it’s important to keep active, plus surrounding yourself with likeminded and positive people. Do it! A great way to meet people of similar backgrounds / experiences. You instantly feel part of a team and always great to have a hobby!!
